Guide

Guide

This is a short guide to world at war.

When you first enter the server you will appear at a stone,

you must double click this, and then you will appear in the

newbie dungeon, you are safe from any loss here. You can find

stones for items and other services close to where you will

appear. Look inside your backpack to see scrolls which can be

used to give you weapon and armor.

If you continue to search the newbie dungeon

you will find monsters with [Level #] above their head, the

higher the level of the monster the harder its difficult but

the better loot it contains.

It is best to try to communicate with all NPCs

you come across as some of them can give you scrolls of information.

Once you have become familar with the gameplay

and you wish to leave newbie dungeon you will find a ice colored

stone at the entrance of newbie dungeon, close to the respawn

area, at this stone you can choose NONPK or PK facet to start

in, whichever you choose will send you to a safe town in that

facet, you can travel between facets so this is really not a

huge decision.

The PK Facet.

Cove is the main town of the PK facet, this

town is safe and contains the services for you such as bank,

item stones, trade-in, prize collection stones. In cove[pk]

is a moon gate labelled "NONPK" this is the way to

the nonpk facet, any other exit other then this blue gate will

take you to a PK area.

The drop-rate of rare items in the pk facet

is notically higher then that of the nonpk facet, but of course,

you run the risk of being pk'd and losing everything you carry.

The NONPK Facet.

Britain is the main town of the NONPK facet,

britain bank and Lord british castle courtyard contain all the

services you need, you can also find the Market stalls in the

courtyard of lord british castle. On top of britain bank are

gates to all of the dungeons where you are 100% safe from any

PK.

You will see a red gate outside britain bank,

this is to Cove[PK], the PK's safe town.

My advice

In WaW you will find the lesser level items

from level 1-4 are extremely easy to get compared to level 5+

My suggestion as a new player at WaW would

be to start hunting in the NONPK world, and to practice your

pvp skills in the mage arena whilst getting to know some of

the community. Remember to try explore all places and be curious

at all things, as there are many different things to do at WaW,

and many types of items to obtain as well as ways to obtain

them.

If you choose to pvp at WaW, i strongly advise

to start using your lesser items, and to practice your skills

in the mage pvp arena!

Have Fun!
